Shiv Venkatraman

Shiv Venkatraman has a strong background in engineering and mobile applications. Shiv most recently served as the Director of Engineering, Mobile at Liftoff Mobile since October 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Vungle starting in January 2019.

From 2018 to 2019, Shiv worked as the Senior Director of Engineering at TBCASoft. Before that, they served as the Director of Mobile Engineering at Phunware, Inc. from 2016 to 2018.

Shiv also has experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) space, having worked as the Director of Engineering for Mobile Applications at Honeywell from 2014 to 2016. Shiv was responsible for developing mobile apps for connected devices, including the flagship app Lyric.

Earlier in their career, Shiv held leadership roles at Yahoo!, AT&T Interactive, and Xora, Inc. At Yahoo!, they were the Director of Engineering, Mobile, leading the development of SDKs used across various Yahoo mobile apps and by external partners. At AT&T Interactive, they served as the Executive Director of Engineering, Mobile Applications, overseeing the engineering of YellowPages (YP) mobile apps.

At Xora, Inc., Shiv was the Director of Engineering, managing US and offshore engineering teams and providing architectural direction for wireless, location-based applications in the mobile resource management (MRM) space.

Before joining Xora, Inc., Shiv worked at Virtual Synaptics as the Director of Platform Development, and at BroadVision as a Software Engineer and later as the Manager of Product Development. At BroadVision, they played a key role in building the company's enterprise business portal applications from scratch and witnessed its IPO in 1996.

Shiv Venkatraman completed the Engineering Leadership Professional Program (ELPP) in 2019 from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, Shiv earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
