Teng Liu

Teng Liu has a diverse work experience in various industries. Teng is currently working as an Analytics Engineer at Liftoff Mobile since July 2022. Prior to this, Teng had experience working as an App Developer, designing and developing iOS and iPadOS apps and selling them on the App Store. Some of their notable apps include PlantPal, PowerTimer, FRMD, HRZN, and ReadOnly. Teng also worked as a Data Scientist at Technical Safety BC from January 2021 to February 2022. Teng has also worked as a Data Analyst at Best Buy Canada, where they implemented a shipping model and spearheaded the Price Erosion project. In addition, Teng has experience as a Senior Product Manager at Beijing Dora Technologies, Ltd., where they led mobile product development, and as a Decision Support Advisor at Vancouver Coastal Health, where they developed data frameworks and built Tableau dashboards. Teng also worked as a Research Analyst (Co-op) at Vancouver Airport Authority, leading process improvement plans and proposing solutions to reduce connection time. Teng's early career includes internships as a Consultant at Mercer China and an Audit Associate at KPMG China, where they conducted surveys, developed VBA tools, and performed statistical studies.

Teng Liu began their education at Renmin University of China in 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Financial Engineering. Teng successfully completed this program in 2015. Following this, from 2015 to 2017, they enrolled at UBC Sauder School of Business. During their time here, they pursued a Master of Management degree with a focus on Operations Research.
