John Veale

John Veale is a seasoned design engineer with extensive experience in the development and design of lifting equipment and structural systems. Currently serving as a Design Engineer at LiftWerx since August 2020, John specializes in the design of up-tower cranes and rigging for wind turbine repairs, applying steel design principles to various international codes and conducting engineering calculations using advanced software. Previously, John held positions at Tigercat Industries and Mammoet Canada Eastern Ltd., where responsibilities included structural design calculations and equipment conceptualization. John began a career in engineering through developmental roles at Ontario Power Generation and the Department of National Defence, focusing on innovative engineering solutions. John holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Mohawk College.
