Neil Harris

Neil Harris has a diverse work experience spanning over 22 years. Neil currently holds the position of Head of Engineering at Ligentia, which they assumed in April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Development Manager at Ligentia from June 2020 to March 2021.

Before joining Ligentia, Neil worked at DWF 360, where they undertook various roles. Neil was the Head of Technical Services from May 2018 to May 2020. Previously, they served as the Head of Operations from February 2017 to May 2018, and prior to that, they worked as the Development Team Leader in January and February 2017.

Neil also worked at 3SIXTY Systems Ltd as a Development Team Leader and Senior Developer/Architect from May 2008 to January 2017. In this role, they focused on .NET enterprise web application development, portals, collaboration, and CRM.

Earlier in their career, Neil worked as a Web Application Developer at Praxis Partners Ltd from August 2006 to May 2008. Neil also served as a Systems Development Officer at AESSEAL plc from February 2002 to August 2006 and as a Web Developer at Synergis Development Ltd from September 2001 to February 2002.

Neil commenced their career as an IT Support Technician at First Group in 1999. Overall, their work experience reflects a strong background in engineering, development, technical services, and management roles across multiple industries.

Neil Harris attended Marlwood School from 1990 to 1997. Neil then enrolled in Sheffield Hallam University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Software Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Neil earned certifications including "Microsoft Programming in HTML5 with Javascript and CSS3 Specialist" in January 2013, and "MCTS Web Applications Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4" in April 2011, both from Microsoft.
