Dalius Petrulionis is a co-founder and CTO at Astrolight, a company focused on providing free space optical communication solutions for satellites in low Earth orbit, where key projects include the development of a low-cost optical ground station and scalable laser communications terminals. With extensive experience at Light Conversion since 2013, Dalius has held roles as a Program Manager and Electronics Design Engineer, contributing to innovation and product development through expertise in electronic, optical, and mechanical design. Dalius's academic background includes a Research Assistant position at Vilnius University, where research centered on solid oxide fuel cell materials, as well as guest research at ETH Zurich and student research at Le Mans Université. Dalius holds degrees in Material Science and Semiconductor Physics, and Physics of Telecommunication and Electronics from Vilnius University.
