Santiago Goycoechea has a diverse work experience in software development and teaching. Santiago started their career as a Junior Software Developer at Greycon in 2018, working on a desktop application using C# and Windows Forms. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Software Developer at CodigoDelSur, primarily developing React and iOS MVPs. During this time, they worked on projects of varying sizes and methodologies for English-speaking clients. At Universidad de la República, Santiago served as a Teaching Assistant from 2019 to 2022, teaching exercise solving classes and designing programming tasks for the Automata Theory course using Python and NLTK. Santiago also worked as a Software Developer/Data Scientist for the university's Natural Language Processing group, focusing on developing a Question Answering machine learning model for Covid-related questions.
