Danny Wei has over a decade of experience in software engineering. Danny began their career in 2006 as a Student Programming Assistant at UC Irvine Medical Center. In 2007, they were an Intern at IBM Almaden Research Center, where they designed the CSHOME Portal Website for the CS Department. In 2008, they joined Cisco as a Software Engineer, where they led a project to enable platform software support for both big and little endian platforms. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Staff Engineer at FutureWei Technologies. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Software Engineer at OpsClarity, where they developed components for an intelligent monitoring solution in streaming data pipelines. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Lightbend, Inc.
Danny Wei attended National Chiao Tung University from 2000-2004, where they earned a B.S. in Computer Science. Danny then attended UC Irvine from 2006-2007 and obtained an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
