Syed Ali Raza

Syed Ali Raza is a Principal GNC Engineer at LTA Research, working on innovative guidance, navigation, and control solutions for airships since July 2023. Previously, Syed served as a Sr. Staff Robotics Engineer at Ripcord, focusing on edge AI and automation for robotics systems, and as a Senior Robotics Engineer at BGARAGE, where responsibilities included flight control development for autonomous drones. Syed's prior roles include Software Engineering Lead and Flight Controls Software Engineer at Acubed, Controls Development Engineer at General Motors, and Research Associate at Carleton University. Syed holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University and a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
