Gary Severson

Gary Severson has been a director since October 24, 2011. During a distinguished career in the financial services industry, Mr. Severson held several key executive management positions including Executive Vice President of the Capital Markets Group for Security Pacific Bank and as Chairman of the Board for First Interstate Bank of Washington. He has served on several corporate and not-for-profit boards dealing with such diverse areas as investment advisory services, life insurance, international trade, education, the arts, dairy products, retirement homes, trust services and wealth management. Mr. Severson was in prominent leadership positions with many of these boards, most particularly Casey Family Programs (Chairman, 2001-11), Laird Norton Financial Services and successor companies (Chairman, 1999-2009) and Pacific Lutheran University Board of Regents (Chairman, 1997-2004) where he was reelected to the board in 2014 and again to Chairman in 2015. Mr. Severson was a captain in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and holds a BA and an MBA from Stanford University and an MS from the University of Southern California.
