Gilly Fogg has a diverse and extensive work experience in the animation industry. Gilly started their career in 1998 as an animator and creative developer at HIT Entertainment, where they worked on shows like "Bob the Builder" and "Rubbadubbers." Gilly later became a director for "Bob the Builder" and was credited with various episodes and specials.

In 2007, Gilly joined DHX Media as a series director for "Animal Mechanicals," where they played a key role in developing the characters and visual style of the show. Gilly also served as the voice director for all episodes. At DHX Media, Gilly continued to work as a series director for other shows like "Wishenpoof!" and "Space Ranger Roger." Gilly worked closely with producers and creators, particularly in scripts and set design.

In 2014, Gilly moved on to become a series director at DHX Media, overseeing the first season of "Wishenpoof!" and collaborating closely with the creative team. Gilly then directed the second season of "Wishenpoof!" and "El Deafo" on Apple TV+, which received critical acclaim and won several awards.

Currently, Gilly Fogg holds the position of head creative and showrunner at Lighthouse Studios, where they continue to make valuable contributions to the animation industry.

Gilly Fogg started their education in 1993 at the University of Glasgow, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film & Theatre Studies and English Literature. Gilly successfully completed their degree in 1997.

In 1996, Gilly Fogg attended Queen's University as an exchange student, where they studied in the Film Department for one year.

Gilly further enhanced their knowledge and skills by interning at the Studio Jiri Trnka in Prague, Czech Republic, from 1997 to 1998. During this internship, they focused on Animation and Filmmaking.
