Amanda V. Walker, LISW-S has an extensive background in the social work field. Amanda V. began their career as a Licensed Social Worker in Foster Care and Adoption at Lighthouse Youth Services in 2011. During this time, they created relevant data monitoring spreadsheets, developed individualized treatment plans, and completed required clinical documentation.

In 2015, Amanda transitioned to The Children's Home of Cincinnati, where they worked as an Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist and an Early Childhood Day Treatment Therapist. In these roles, they administered diagnostic assessment evaluations, created individualized treatment plans, and created relevant data monitoring spreadsheets.

Amanda returned to Lighthouse Youth & Family Services in 2017 and held various positions within the organization. Amanda V. initially served as a Clinical Supervisor, where they developed and improved agency and program processes and procedures, created relevant data monitoring spreadsheets, and increased staff revenue.

In 2021, Amanda was promoted to Program Director of Foster Care and Adoption, where they ensured program compliance with certification and accreditation standards, managed the program's financial performance, and participated in the budget development process.

In 2022, they then became the Clinical Director of Lighthouse Youth & Family Services, where they managed all licensing and accreditation processes for the organization, ensured adherence to professional standards and policies, developed and oversaw the Psychiatric Services and Training Departments, and ensured program needs were consistently met.

Currently, Amanda holds the position of Vice President of Operations at Lighthouse Youth & Family Services, starting in 2024. Further details on their responsibilities in this role are not disclosed.

Amanda V. Walker, LISW-S, obtained their Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Toledo in 2010. Amanda V. later acquired their Masters of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati in 2011. In addition to their educational background, Amanda holds certifications as a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, as well as in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention from the Crisis Prevention Institute.
