Adam Greene

Contract Lighting Director Project Coordinator at Lighting Design Group

Adam Greene has a diverse work experience in the field of lighting design. Adam began their career in 2001 as a Lighting Designer at The Actors' Gang and later worked as a Resident Assistant Lighting Designer at Center Theatre Group from 2003 to 2006. In 2005, they served as a Company Member at Son of Semele theater. In 2008, they joined The Lighting Design Group, where they held multiple roles including Contract Lighting Director & Project Coordinator. During their time at LDG, Adam gained experience in broadcast television lighting for both studio and remote applications. In 2014, they started working as a Contract Assistant Lighting Director at FLDA, where they fulfilled various roles such as Electrician, Programmer, Asst. Lighting Director, and Lighting Director for studio locations such as CNBC, NFL Films, and NBC Sports. Additionally, Adam is the owner of Greene Light Design LLC, where they have been a Lighting Designer since 2003.

Adam Greene earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Design for Stage and Film from New York University in the years 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Theatrical Design at the California Institute of the Arts from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Adam has also obtained several certifications. In August 2016, they completed a certification in Intro to Control Networks & Eos Family Systems from Electronic Theatre Controls. In June 2015, they received certification in Budgeting and Scheduling Projects, Initiating and Planning Projects, and Managing Project Risks and Changes, all from Coursera Verified Certificates.
