Augie Rivera

Augie Rivera is a highly experienced telecommunications professional with a diverse background spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a Lit Service Technician at Fibertech Networks since March 2015, Augie specializes in the installation, testing, and maintenance of high-speed, low-latency fiber optic networks in Connecticut. Previously, Augie held various positions including Technician/Installer at CTDI, Field Technician roles at Sidera Networks and Clearwire, and significant engineering roles at Sprint Nextel Corporation and Nextel Communications. Augie's early career included project management for telecom installations at BUTLER America and technical support roles at Xerox. With an AAS in Electrical Technology from The City University of New York, Augie Rivera combines extensive hands-on technical expertise with a solid educational foundation.
