Andrea Zampetti

Andrea Zampetti is a Senior Researcher at Lightricity, where responsibilities include the design and development of innovative solar-powered IoT sensors and characterization equipment for lighting applications. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Researcher at Sharp Laboratories of Europe, focusing on RGB QD-LED pixels for high-resolution displays, and as a Scientific Project Manager at UCL, overseeing a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions research project in Photonics. Andrea began with a PhD at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, complemented by a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in the same field. Notable early work includes contributions to organic photovoltaic methods and prototype development during a PhD studentship at the CHOSE Center for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy.
