Kavya Sukumar

Kavya is a Principal at Lightrock focusing on technology and media sectors. She comes to Lightrock with experience in engineering, product management and editorial roles in technology and media companies including Microsoft, Vox and Washington Post. She was a Knight-Mozilla OpenNews Fellow in 2015 and is a founding member of Bad Idea Factory. She has a B.Tech in Computer science and engineering from NIT, Trichy and a MS in Journalism from Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University.
