Anja Riester

Anja Riester's work experience began as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Siemens Healthcare in 2009. Anja then worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at CONSTELLIUM CRV from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, Anja became a Working Student in Product Management at Siemens Energy and Automations and also became a Computer-Aided Engineering Analyst at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Institute for Automotive Engineering. Anja then joined Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG as a Composite Materials Engineering Intern, where they worked on the development of carbon fiber reinforced plastics. After that, Anja worked as a Composites Manufacturing Research Intern at Frauhnofer Project Center for Composites Research in 2015. Anja then became an Engineer Body Structures at German Design Consulting Inc. from 2016 to 2017. Anja then joined Lucid Motors as an Engineer Body Structures from 2017 to 2020. Anja then worked at ARRIS as an Engineering Program Manager from 2020 to 2022, and as a Sr. Applications Engineer from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are working at Lightship as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer.

Anja Riester completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in the years 2009 to 2013. Subsequently, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a major in Automotive Engineering and Lightweight Constructions from the same institution from 2013 to 2015.
