Matthew Braun

Matthew Braun is an accomplished industrial designer with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across prominent companies in the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Staff Industrial Designer at Lightship since August 2022, Matthew previously held roles as a Senior Industrial Designer at the same company and as a Creative Designer at Ford Motor Company from January 2021 to August 2022. Matthew's career includes significant design contributions at Rivian between July 2015 and January 2021, a Creative Design Internship at General Motors in the Buick Exterior Studio during the summer of 2014, and an Industrial Design Internship focused on advanced concept development at MTD Products in 2013. Matthew’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from The Cleveland Institute of Art and foundational studies at Columbus College of Art & Design.
