Julia Poska

Julia Poska is a Marketing and Communications Manager at Lightsource bp since August 2021, previously serving as a Communications Associate. Julia's experience includes roles as Communications and Events Coordinator at Field to Family and Communications and Outreach Intern at The UI Center for Global and Regional Environmental Research, where responsibilities included writing blogs and creating promotional content. As a Writing Tutor and Fellow at The University of Iowa Writing Center, Julia provided guidance to student writers, while also serving as Co-President of University of Iowa Gardeners, leading fundraising initiatives and community engagement. Additional experience includes internships as a Reporter at Telegraph Herald and The Daily Iowan, along with research on media frames during an undergraduate fellowship. Julia holds a degree from the University of Iowa, completed in 2020.
