Marcel Dreischarf

Marcel Dreischarf, PhD, currently serves as a Medical Science Advisor at LightSource Research LLC, focusing on the development and validation of medical technologies for early-stage innovators and medtech companies. Concurrently, Marcel is a Coach and Trainer specializing in Agile Project Management at AST AG, where over a decade of experience supports companies through transformation processes. Previously, Marcel held the position of Head of R&D and Chief Scientific Officer at RAYLYTIC, leading the development of the UNITY platform for clinical data integration. Marcel's background includes research roles at Mount Sinai Health System and Charité, alongside positions at Dräger and KSB France in research and development. Marcel holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, with additional degrees in Human Medicine and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Biomedical Engineering.
