Sam Shi

Sam Shi is Head of Human Capital of Lightspeed China Partners. He joined the team in 2018 and is based in Beijing office. He has 10 years of VC/PE experience and 15 years of industry experience. He is responsible for the firm’s HR management, talent operation and portfolio management.

Sam previously worked as Chief Human Officer at China Growth Capital (CGCVC ) for 7 years. During his tenure, Sam built up the team from 5 members to 30 and also help to set up a Value-add Team for CGCVC’s portfolios. Prior to CGCVC, he worked as HRD at China Minsheng Bank, HRM and Key account Operation Manager at Zhaopin.com, and Consultant at Manpower (China).

Sam holds a B.A. in Human Resource Management from Capital University of Economic and Business.
