Ivo Formanoy

Ivo Formanoy has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Ivo is currently working as a Senior Data Acquisition Engineer at Lightyear since April 2021. Before that, they worked at Inalfa Roof Systems Group as a Senior Process Equipment & Test Engineer, Software/LabView Specialist from September 2016 to March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at TASS International as a Senior Test Engineer, Data Analyst & Senior Programming from January 2014 to August 2016. Ivo also worked at TNO Companies as a Senior Test Engineer, Data Analyst & Senior Programming from September 2007 to December 2013. Additionally, they have experience working at TNO Crash Testing, KVI-Center for Advanced Radiation Technology - UG, Philips, ASTRON, and Philips in different engineering roles. Overall, Ivo Formanoy has a diverse background in test engineering, data analysis, programming, and project leadership.

Ivo Formanoy attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Applied Physics. Prior to that, they were enrolled at the University of Twente from 1992 to 1993, pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Physics. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including training in Effective Algorithms (JAVA/C++) from CAI in 2015, Training in CAN-bus/Networking from Electude in 2012, FemLab Multiphysics from Máster COMSOL Multiphysics UMA (MUCOM) in 2005, and High-Vacuum Techniques/Engineering from the University of Groningen in 1997.
