Mercury Liu

Mercury Liu has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Mercury started their career as a Software Engineer at the Institute for Information Industry in 1991, where they were part of the development team for the BROUTER, a real-time embedded system. They contributed to tasks involving the UDP/IP/ICMP protocol stack and its integration with RIP, ARP, and SNMP.

In 1994, Mercury joined Cisco System Inc. as a Technical Lead, where they worked until 2001. They then joined Optimight Inc. as a Senior System Test Engineer and Project Lead for a year before transitioning to Juniper Networks in 2002. At Juniper Networks, Mercury held multiple roles, including Senior Member Engineering Staff, Technical Lead, and Manager, until 2014.

Since 2014, Mercury has been working at Lilee Systems as an SQA Lead/SQA Manager/Solution Test in CIM (Connectivity In Motion).

Mercury Liu received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information and Computer Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University between 1984 and 1988. Mercury then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at Santa Clara University, completing it in 1992. Mercury continued their education at Santa Clara University and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Networking, which was completed between 1992 and 1994.
