Umutcan Ertürk

Umutcan Ertürk is a Senior Materials and Process Engineer at Lilium since September 2022, specializing in lightweight material development for eVTOL aircraft aimed at sustainable regional air mobility. Prior to this role, Umutcan served as Lead Materials and Process Engineer and Material and Process Engineer at TEI - TUSAŞ Engine Industries, Inc. from March 2018 to September 2022, focusing on material and process development for aero turbine engine components, particularly titanium alloys and superalloys. Umutcan began a career as a Graduate Research Assistant at TUBITAK from May 2013 to September 2017, researching high temperature coatings for turbine engine applications. Umutcan holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Middle East Technical University, completed in 2017 and 2012, respectively.
