Marika Hogland

Marika Hogland is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in environmental inspection and consulting. Currently serving as a Miljöinspektör at Lilla Edets kommun since April 2021, Marika focuses on oversight and assessment in accordance with environmental legislation. Previous roles include a Research and Development Project Manager and Environmental Consultant at LundaHydro, where significant work on soil and waste management, landfill mining, and water treatment was conducted. Marika also has experience as a geologist and project assistant across various organizations, including Trafikverket and Sydvatten AB, contributing to geological investigations, sludge management, and waste research. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Earth Science from the University of Gothenburg and specialized training in environmental health and safety.
