Avnish Patel

Avnish Patel has an extensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Avnish currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Lily AI starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Strategy & Operations Consultant at Lily AI from September 2022 to March 2023.

Before joining Lily AI, Avnish was the Chief Business Officer at Plantible Foods from November 2021 to April 2022.

From October 2019 to November 2021, Avnish worked at PicsArt Inc. where they held the role of SVP, Strategy & Operations. During their tenure, they led a team of approximately 60 employees and was responsible for business development, partnerships, corporate development, and international profit and loss. Avnish led the team that raised over $100 million in a Series C funding round. Additionally, they spearheaded the creation of a new visual creation API & SDK business and established an M&A team that completed two acquisitions.

Prior to their position at PicsArt Inc., Avnish worked at Eventbrite from November 2017 to October 2019 as the VP Strategy & Operations for the Incubation Business Unit.

Avnish also has experience at IronPlanet, where they worked from September 2012 to November 2017. Avnish held various roles including Vice President, Business Development & Product Strategy, General Manager Brokered Sales / Vice President, Inside Sales & Auction Management, and Director, Business Development & Strategy. Avnish played a key role in driving partnerships, strategic sales, JVs, and M&A, and helped facilitate the company's acquisition by Ritchie Bros.

Earlier in their career, Avnish worked as a Strategy Consultant at Skullcandy Inc., a Senior Consultant at Monitor Deloitte, and a Senior Investment Associate in the Private Equity Team at Audax Group Private Equity. Avnish also gained investment banking experience as an Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.

Avnish Patel has a strong educational background in business administration and marketing. Avnish obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley in 2002. After working for a few years, they pursued further education and completed an MBA degree with a focus on Marketing & Strategy from Columbia Business School in 2010-2011.

In addition to their formal education, Avnish Patel also holds a certification in Data Science. Avnish completed the course "A Crash Course in Data Science" from Coursera Course Certificates in October 2015.
