Gail Nardin

SVP, External Relations and Alumni Affairs at LIM College

A graduate of LIM College, Gail Nardin enjoyed a successful career in the fashion world before joining LIM in a full-time capacity in 2005.

Over the course of three decades in the apparel industry, Ms. Nardin held positions in buying, merchandising, and sales at companies that included Federated Department Stores, May Department Stores, and Energie Sportswear for Jones New York, where she served as Vice President of Development and Production.

Now, as Senior Vice President for External Relations & Alumni Affairs, Ms. Nardin’s focus is on developing relationships with industry partners, academic institutions, and alumni to increase LIM College’s global footprint, support students’ educational experience, and provide alumni with opportunities for continued career development.

Ms. Nardin has led several successful initiatives to integrate internal and external constituents across the College community. These include the re-establishment of the Alumni Association and the creation of an alumni leadership body; student/alumni mentoring programs; programs for students’ parents and families; and partnerships with professional organizations (including the Underfashion Club and BRAG) whose mission is to educate the next generation of fashion business leaders. These relationships have provided LIM students with opportunities to participate in professional workshops, conferences, and networking programs, interact with industry innovators, and obtain scholarships, internships, and permanent positions after graduation.
