Frank Kohlhofer has a diverse work experience in the education field. Frank is currently working as the Director of Career and Technical Education at Lima City Schools since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Technology Instruction Coach at the same school from August 2021 to July 2023.
Before joining Lima City Schools, Frank worked at Washington Local Schools as an Associate Principal from August 2018 to January 2020.

Frank has a long tenure at Springfield High School, starting from August 2004 to August 2014. During this time, they held the position of Satellite Marketing Coordinator, where they taught and coordinated a Marketing and DECA program. Frank also coached football, softball, and bowling, and served as the Assistant Athletic Director.
Prior to working at Springfield High School, Frank worked at Penta Career Center as the Marketing Coordinator from July 2001 to August 2014.
Frank Kohlhofer obtained their Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Bowling Green State University, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Frank later pursued a Master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision at the University of Cincinnati from 2006 to 2008.
