Ben Joy

Ben Joy is a seasoned musician and music educator, currently self-employed as a musician and music instructor since 2015. Holding a Doctor of Musical Arts in Trumpet Performance from The Ohio State University, Ben has performed with prestigious orchestras including the Lima Symphony Orchestra and the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra since 2018, as well as the McConnell Arts Center Chamber Orchestra since 2015. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University from 2012 to 2015. Educational credentials also include multiple degrees from the University of Michigan, encompassing a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance, a Master of Music in Chamber Music, and a Master of Arts in Music Performance, alongside a Bachelor of Music Education and a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance from The Ohio State University.
