Mike Smedley

Mike Smedley currently serves as the VP of Sales at Limbach, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Mike was the Vice President of Business Development at Vicinity Energy from 2019 to 2024, where major development projects were pursued for the largest district energy provider in the United States, alongside leading decarbonization strategies. From 2008 to 2018, Mike held various leadership positions at Veolia North America, including Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic Region, managing a national business development team and overseeing impactful rate cases with the Pennsylvania Utility Commission. Earlier, Mike managed cogeneration facilities and district energy systems at Trigen-Trenton Energy Company and Trigen-Peoples District Energy Company, consistently delivering strong financial performance and forging successful partnerships. Mike holds an Executive MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University.
