Deputy General Counsel at Lime

Amy Barcroft is the Deputy General Counsel at Lime. Amy has over fifteen years of experience working in the legal field, with a focus on EU competition law. Amy began their career as a paralegal at Arnold & Porter before moving to King & Wood Mallesons (SJ Berwin) as an associate solicitor. In 2011, they joined Diageo plc as Regional Counsel for Northern Europe, France, and the Middle East and North Africa. Amy spent eight years at Diageo, during which time they oversaw the legal support for the MENA team and drove forward the compliance agenda in the region. Most recently, they were with Uber as their Head of Regulatory Affairs for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In their current role as Deputy General Counsel at Lime, they are responsible for providing legal support to the company's operations globally.

Amy Barcroft attended Haverstock School for their GCSEs and Islington Sixth Form Centre for their A-Levels in English Literature, French, and Politics. Amy then obtained their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Leeds, followed by a Diplome d'Etudes Superieures (Masters equivalent) in European Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles. Finally, they completed their LPC at BPP Law School.

They work with Ashley James-Smith - Head of Legal - North America, South America & APAC, Ken Miller - Deputy General Counsel, Product. Their manager is Sarah Binder, Global General Counsel.
