Gordon Tang

Gordon Tang has a diverse range of work experience across various industries. Gordon started their career as an Intern at EY, where they assisted with R&D credit calculations and participated in the development of a data consolidation tool. Gordon then worked as an IT Specialist and Procurement Specialist at United Manufacturing Assembly, where they managed IT operations, implemented automated processes, and streamlined purchasing tasks.

Following that, Gordon served as a Tax Analyst at Oracle, where they prepared tax account reconciliations and financial statements. Gordon also worked on quarterly tie-outs and assisted with audit and SOX packages. At Next Insurance, they worked as a Tax Accountant, focusing on financial reporting and statistical reporting for insurance. Gordon created Tableau reports and implemented automated data flows, in addition to collaborating with various teams to develop and automate insurance data reporting.

Gordon's most recent position was as a Senior Analyst, Accounting at Hippo Insurance, where they were responsible for month-end accounting duties and managing reporting to partner companies. Gordon also developed internal controls processes and worked on consolidating data from various sources.

Currently, Gordon Tang holds the role of a Senior Financial Data Analyst at Lime.

Gordon Tang completed their education at San Jose State University from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Taxation. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, they attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Management Economics, with a concentration in Accounting. Additionally, in September 2018, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy.
