Prior to Limetree, Chet has 16 years of hands-on experience as a data analyst in the financial services industry. In his time at Capital One in multiple leadership roles, he built and implemented processes that increased company revenue in the millions, and significantly decreased regulatory and operational loss exposure. Chet also served as chief of staff for the USAA Bank Chief Data Officer where he implemented a robust data and analytical infrastructure that exceeded regulatory requirements.
Chet graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1994, earning a bachelor of science degree in oceanography and then serving as a surface navy officer. His leadership experience in the Navy included running shipboard operations. After the Navy, Chet earned a master’s degree in business decision sciences from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business.
He enjoys being active, coaching his son’s soccer team, doing long bike rides and continuing to be a crew coxswain. Chet is a teacher at heart and loves to pass along what he gains in life to others and watching them get better.
