Gerd Lipowsky

Gerd Lipowsky is an experienced professional in the field of biomedicine, currently serving as Director and Head of Research at LimmaTech Biologics AG since July 2015, focusing on the development of vaccines and biologics for infectious diseases. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Group Leader in Discovery at LimmaTech, and various positions at Glycovaxyn AG and Cytos Biotechnology AG, where responsibilities ranged from biopharmaceuticals and vaccine development to preclinical project management. Gerd Lipowsky began a research career as a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zürich and holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Heidelberg University.
