David Root

David Root is an experienced construction professional currently serving as the Director of Construction at Lincoln Avenue Communities since February 2022, focusing on ground-up affordable development. Previously, David held the position of Project Manager at The Michaels Organization, managing affordable housing projects in the mid-Atlantic region. David also contributed to Berks Ridge Company Enterprises as a Project Manager, leading a significant 173-unit senior living facility project. Earlier experiences include roles as an Assistant Soccer Coach at North Penn High School, Project Engineer on an innovative product team at IDEAL Team, and Residence Assistant at Lafayette College. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College, where involvement included a dragster competition project.
