Imani James has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Imani began their career at Columbia University Athletics as a Marketing Assistant from September 2013 to May 2017. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks such as managing marketing merchandise, executing contests and promotional events, and organizing large-scale events like the annual pep rally.
In 2017, Imani joined the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and started as an Assistant in Venue Sales. From September 2017 to February 2019, they held this role, contributing to the sales and management of venue rentals. Imani then progressed to become an Assistant Manager until October 2020, where they took on additional responsibilities and played a more substantial role in the sales team. From October 2020 to December 2021, Imani served as a Senior Manager in Venue Sales, showcasing their growth and expertise in the field. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director, Venue Sales, starting from December 2021.
