Senior Director Marketing at Lincoln Center

John Casavant has a diverse work experience in the performing arts industry. John started their career at Playwrights Horizons as a Marketing/Development Resident, where they successfully produced a viral video blog to promote Saved. John then worked at The Public Theater as a Press Intern, compiling feature and review packets and drafting press releases.

Later, they joined Lincoln Center Theater as a Marketing Assistant, managing direct mail campaigns and maintaining the department budget. Following that, they worked at the Metropolitan Opera as a Marketing Coordinator, handling pricing and sales analysis, copywriting for eblasts, and managing direct response channels.

Afterwards, they joined SpotCo, where they held various roles. First, as an Associate Digital Media Manager, they executed ad trafficking and provided bi-weekly reporting of campaign performance. Then, as a Digital Strategy & Analytics Manager, they led digital media strategy and reporting for specific shows. Lastly, as an Associate Director of Research and Analytics, they led agency measurement and development of research tools.

Currently, John is Senior Director of Marketing at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

John Casavant earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Emory University - Goizueta Business School from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Baylor School from 2000 to 2006. John also obtained additional certifications including a Business Analyst Nanodegree from Udacity in March 2017 and a Google Analytics IQ certification from Google in May 2014.
