Richard Furniss

Richard Furniss is an experienced audio and video professional with a diverse background in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as President at Sound Collective since October 2020, Richard has also owned Much Obliged TV from September 2015 to September 2024. Additional experience includes positions as a Live Sound Engineer at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and Audio & Video specialist at Two15 Group, where Richard set up equipment for outdoor movies in New York. A seasoned DJ, Richard has performed for high-profile clients and venues across major cities. Previous roles include co-owner of Prescribed, IT and Audio/Video Consultant for the Museum of Sex, and Multi-Media Consultant for Purdue Pharma. Richard holds a BFA in Audio for Video from Columbia College Chicago, obtained in 2010.
