Bridget Caver

Bridget Caver has extensive experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation. Bridget currently works as the Director of Strategic IT Sourcing at Lincoln Electric since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Summa Health as the IT Vendor Relations Manager, where they were responsible for establishing and facilitating the sourcing and contracting process for technology purchases. Before that, they worked at Progressive Insurance in various roles, including Strategic Vendor Account Manager and Commodity Agent. Bridget also has experience in purchasing and negotiation from their earlier roles at Linde Gas LLC as a Purchasing Agent, Senior Buyer, and Junior Buyer.

Bridget Caver obtained a Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from Bowling Green State University between 1991 and 1995. In addition, they obtained the Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) certification from the Institute for Supply Management in 2006. Recently, in 2018, they obtained the Certified Technology Procurement Executive (CTPE) certification from CAUCUS - The Association of Technology Acquisition Professionals.
