Michelle Furlong Tanner

Michelle Furlong Tanner currently serves as Vice President and Head of Workplace Solutions Marketing Strategy at Lincoln Financial, a role held since May 2018, where responsibilities include overseeing the comprehensive marketing strategy for Workplace Solutions and leading teams focused on various strategic areas. Prior to this position, Michelle was the Assistant Vice President for Group Protection Marketing and the Director of Group Protection Marketing at Lincoln Financial, managing external communications and marketing strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant in Corporate Communications at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where efforts centered on developing internal communication strategies and fostering relationships with senior leaders, as well as an Account Executive managing a significant client portfolio. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Arts in Communication from Queens University of Charlotte.
