Carey Guhlke-Falk has a varied work experience. Carey currently serves as the Director of Community Collaboration at the Lincoln County Health Department since January 2023. Previously, they worked as the Communications Director at Lincoln Hospital District 3, where they managed marketing, public relations, brand management, and internal and external communication. Carey also owned and operated the Elevated Ground Coffeehouse from June 2008 to 2010. Before that, Carey worked as a freelance writer for The Jackson Hole News & Guide and as a store manager at Intrawest Starbucks. Carey started their career as a community editor at The Cannon Beach Gazette, where they were responsible for writing, editing, photography, layout, and design.
Carey Guhlke-Falk earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Journalism from Whitworth University from 2002 to 2006. Carey then went on to pursue their Master of Arts degree in Communication and Leadership at Gonzaga University from 2012 to 2014.
