Abigail Lorenz

Abigail Lorenz is an accomplished horticultural professional with a diverse background in plant records, horticulture programs, and landscape design. Currently serving as a Longwood Fellow at Longwood Gardens since May 2023, Abigail previously held the position of Manager of Plant Records and Horticulture Programs at Lincoln Park Zoo from July 2018 to May 2023. Abigail's experience includes roles as a Ceramic Studio Assistant at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and as a Garden Curation Intern at Lincoln Park Zoo. Abigail also worked as a Landscape Designer at Unity Landscape Design & Build and gained early experience as a Plant Records Intern at Denver Botanic Gardens. Abigail holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticultural Science from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramic Arts and Ceramics from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
