Zachary Mora James

Zachary Mora James is a committed community leader and legal professional engaged in various roles, including serving on the Advisory Committee on Transportation for the City of Lincoln since August 2023, with an appointment by Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird. Currently active as a board member at El Centro de las Americas and involved in lay ministry at The Episcopal Church’s St. Matthew’s. Zachary has held significant leadership positions within the Nebraska Democratic Party, promoting Latinx advocacy as Chair of the NDP Latinx Caucus. Previously, Zachary served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Lincoln Airport Authority, while also occupying roles such as Secretary and Assistant Chair during their tenure. Educationally, Zachary is pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching at Bellevue University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Vermont.
