Jenna Ferdon joined Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra as Orchestra Manager and Librarian in 2022. As Manager and Librarian, Jenna manages all aspects of concert production, including administering orchestra personnel, coordinating rehearsal and concert details with the artistic team and venues, providing the music performed each season to the musicians, and maintaining LSO’s library of parts and scores.
Jenna received her Bachelor of Music in violin performance from Bradley University in 2013, and her Master of Arts in violin performance from the University of Iowa in 2017. Before moving to Nebraska, Jenna was a member of various midwest orchestras, including the Peoria Symphony Orchestra, Southeast Iowa Orchestra, and Waterloo Cedar Falls Symphony, and was a Ticket Agent and Phone Room Supervisor at the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL. In addition to her duties as manager and librarian, she is a section violinist with the Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra, Principal second violin for Peoria IL’s annual Bach Festival, a Teaching Assistant at the Birch Creek Music Academy in Door County, WI, and maintains a studio of violin and viola students at the Omaha Conservatory of Music.
