Steve Dixon

Steve Dixon has over 25 years of experience in risk management and internal audit. Steve is currently employed as the Head of Risk and Assurance at Lincolnshire Co-op. Prior to their current role, they worked at RS Group plc as the Group Risk Manager and Deputy Risk Manager, overseeing risk management strategies and controls across various functions and projects. Before that, they held positions as the Internal Audit Manager at Celesio UK, Risk Manager at Anglia Regional Co-operative Society, and Internal Audit Manager at Plymouth and South West Co-operative Society. Steve began their career as a Senior Auditor at TIAA Ltd and as an Internal Auditor at Newey & Eyre. Throughout their career, Steve has been responsible for evaluating and managing business risks, implementing risk management frameworks, conducting audits, and developing risk registers.

Steve Dixon earned a BA (Hons) in Politics from London South Bank University in 1995. Steve then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Audit Management and Consultancy at Birmingham City University from 2006 to 2008. Later, they obtained an MSc in Corporate Governance from London South Bank University, specializing in UK and international Corporate Governance, from 2010 to 2013.
