Rebecca Lai

Rebecca Lai is an experienced professional in operational risk management, currently serving as the Head of Operational Risk and Assurance for Europe & Americas at Westpac since May 2020. Prior to this role, Rebecca held positions at Deutsche Bank as Vice President of Operational Risk Management from September 2014 to April 2020, and as Senior Operational Risk Manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland from August 2011 to August 2014. Additional experience includes roles as Risk and Control Manager at Barclays Capital, Senior Business Risk Analyst at Aberdeen Asset Management, and Operational Risk Manager at Barclays plc. Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Macquarie University between 1999 and 2002.
