Close Protection Officer at Lincolnshire Police

Adrian Scargill is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in firearms instruction and close protection. Currently serving as an Inspector and Chief Firearms Instructor for the Police since June 2022, Adrian also holds the role of Close Protection Officer and Acting Inspector with Lincolnshire Police since April 2019. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Nottinghamshire Police from March 2006 to March 2012, where Adrian trained a team of 15 in close protection and served as a Specialist Firearms Officer Trainer. Additional roles include Firefighter with Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and Engineering Technician at British Aerospace, along with an early career as an Aircraft Mechanic in the Royal Navy. Adrian's educational background includes studies at Wath Comprehensive and Crawley College.
