Chris Tapia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Currently, Chris is the Associate Director, HR - Central Region at Praxair Distribution, Inc. In this role, Chris serves as a strategic business partner, provides HR planning and consultative services, and investigates and resolves employee relations issues. Chris also partners with the Talent Acquisition team and is involved in collective bargaining negotiations and administration of contract provisions alongside the Labor Relations Team.

Prior to this, Chris worked as the Talent Acquisition / Learning & Development Manager at Praxair Surface Technologies from 2016 to 2018 and as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Praxair from 2014 to 2016. Before joining Praxair, Chris held roles at CareerBuilder.com as a Talent Strategist - Healthcare and a Talent Consultant - Virtual Services. Chris also gained experience as a Marketing Intern at COUNTRY Financial® in 2011.

Chris Tapia attended Illinois Wesleyan University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in General Management.
