Daniel Hernandez

Daniel Hernandez is a skilled Controls and Application Engineer at Linde Hydraulics since November 2022, specializing in software development using MATLAB/Simulink and mobile hydraulics applications. Concurrently, Daniel serves as a part-time math tutor with CLTRising, focusing on supporting under-resourced students in the Charlotte area. Previously, Daniel worked at Danfoss Power Solutions from May 2017 to November 2022 as a Product Application Engineer, where responsibilities included supporting new Digital Displacement technology and leading technical training for the North America region. Early experience includes roles as a tutoring mentor and calculus tutor at Iowa State University, and as an engineering intern at Electrocomunicacion. Daniel holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Controls, and Machine Learning from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
