Dan Yu worked at Linden Lab from 2015 to present. dan started as a Senior Engineering Manager in June 2015 and held this position until February 2018. In September 2018, they were promoted to the role of Metaverse Senior Engineering Manager, a position they currently hold.

Dan Yu attended Xiamen University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Science.
