Usberit Ambrocio began their career in 1997 as Support Personnel for Washington Mutual Bank. In 1998, they became an Assistant Systems Administrator at DeVry University, where they maintained and installed software on 300+ computers, as well as providing data entry, imaging, and troubleshooting services. In 2001, they moved to Computer Methods a division of Physio Systems, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Usberit ported applications to different software languages, internationalized and localized applications in C, and created web applications for the medical field. In 2004, they joined Basis Technology as a QA Engineer, creating and using test cases to determine the level of readiness of various applications. In 2005, they joined Yahoo! as a QA Engineer, creating and using test cases to determine the level of readiness of applications, preparing automation scripts using Perl, and recording and reporting bugs to other QA personnel. Usberit also worked at Yahoo! as QA Yahoo in 2007. From 2008 to the present, Usberit Ambrocio has been a QA Engineer for Linden Lab, testing various OS platforms for Second Life Viewers and Second Life Website, creating and maintaining Testcases for use by Linden Lab employees and Third Party partners, and writing automation tests using Selenium and Cucumber.
Usberit Ambrocio attended Ohlone College from 1999 to 2001 and DeVry University from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems.
